When we see a Pigeon, or a Crow, or a Squirrel crossing our path almost every day it can sometimes cause people to take the animal kingdom for granted. Sadly this thinking, along with human expansion and a displeasure for species that seem to interfere with it, can have devastating consequences for biodiversity, with species all around the world threatened with extinction due to human actions. With these blog articles I hope to highlight the extraordinary animals seen all around today and show that there is more to them than meets the eye! Maybe through learning about these animals and more we can further appreciate the wider world around us and learn why its important that we do what we can to save others from disappearing forever.
